Baby Maleficent
About a month ago, I made a new costume for JingJing for a photoshoot with Ed Pingol. We were wearing the fairies and obviously, the larva needed a costume too. =D

Baby Flying Bison
First post of 2013!
I posted this photo on FB but I thought I’d make a real post of Miss M (taking a page from Aimee’s book on baby names) in her costume debut. It’s a baby flying bison from Avatar.

Latest Sewing Projects
I made two new costumes for Costume College: a regency dress out of a blue sari and a Tang Dynasty dress. I’ve also been sewing a bunch of small projects and doing some quilting in my spare time.

Costume College 2012
It’s been 5 years since I’ve been to Costume College and I’ve gotten more into historical costumes over the last couple of years (thanks to Judy and Aimee), so I was excited about going again.
Judy and I taught 2 classes: 18th century wigs (actually Judy taught this one and I was her T.A.), and resin casting in your kitchen. I attended a couple hat making classes and an heirloom sewing class. Sadly, I missed a couple classes I really wanted to take because of limiteds. Next year, I need to pay a bit more attention to when my limiteds are. ^^;
I came back all inspired to make more historical costumes!

Tea at the Sheraton & the Gaultier Exhibit
Here are some photos for when we went for tea at the Sheraton in San Francisco. Praedestinatio didn’t get to go to the Last Dinner Aboard the Titanic, so we wanted to wear our 1910s dresses to another event. We decided doing tea would be fun and we love checking out new places for high tea.
I also posted a couple (ok more than a couple) of photos from the Gaultier exhibit at the deYoung Museum that we visited before going to tea.
